Problems
The app experience was fragmented and difficult to follow: registration had too many steps, the calendar lacked clear structure, and wellness surveys were text-heavy and hard to complete regularly. As a result, players could lose motivation before fully adopting the product, while key routines were not easy enough to repeat in daily use.
Solutions
The experience was redesigned around a simpler, more guided flow: onboarding was streamlined, the calendar was restructured to make tasks and activities easier to scan, and wellness surveys were made lighter with clearer formatting and visual inputs. Together, these changes reduced friction, improved clarity, and made the app easier to use as part of the players’ regular routine.

User interviews
Players were frustrated not only with the look of the product, but with how much effort it took to use. Registration felt like a barrier, navigation was confusing, and the calendar was overloaded with details.

Introduced biometric authentication to eliminate repetitive login steps while maintaining security standards. This improved the return-user experience and reduced dependency on email-based access.

Calendar
The calendar was redesigned to make daily tasks easier to scan and plan. Colour-coded task types, grouped exercises, and progressive disclosure help reduce cognitive load and keep users focused on the next action.

To enhance usability and give users more control, I decided to introduce dark mode.
